The role
We have a potential project coming up and we'd like to hear from suitable freelance writers asap this week. • Liaising with the case study presenters prior to seminar events
  • Carrying out additional research on each case study
  • Writing reports and case examples in clear, concise English
  • Checking and editing all reports to ensure high quality (completeness, accuracy, relevance, coherence)
  • Complying with supplied style guidelines and Word templates
  • Obtaining approval from presenters of case examples for the written reports of their contribution.
  • Approx 15-20 days required per report (work is likely to be in March, June, Nov 2005)
  • Three reports will be assigned to between one and three writers depending on specialist knowledge as outlined below

  • Strong writing and journalism experience
  • Report writing experience or experience reporting from seminars and events
  • Ideally experience writing company case studies
  • Experience editing text, especially within templates
  • Ideally some knowledge of industrial change, restructuring and change management in the context of European Social Policy
Plus experience/knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

You need to be able to demonstrate this knowledge through articles or publications you've worked on, or through your involvement in relevant UK or European events on the topic.
