The role:
This successful online retailer is looking for a Site Writer with strong organisational and communication skills, who has an interest in developing high-quality, functional copy for their site. Reporting to the Editorial Services Manager, the ideal candidate will be comfortable understanding and writing about complex processes with the ability to produce accurate and informative copy to tight deadlines.

Tasks/Responsibilities: owning and writing content for the Help area of the Web site, monitoring and reporting on traffic to Help area, coordinating and writing functional copy for new Web site features, developing and producing content for cross-site areas and cross-site promotions, liasing and building good relations with product managers, programme managers, category owners and customer services managers.

Requirements:
You'll need strong organisational skills, proven project management skills, excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, background in writing functional copy, a customer-focused approach, ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, ability to work independently and as part of a team, good attention to detail, experience of working within an Internet environment or running a company intranet is advantageous, basic technical literacy and a knowledge of XMetal is advantageous.
