The role:
Our client is a leading new media design agency offering a real balance of integrated marketing and creativity. The existing creative team comprises some of the best design, copy and technology talent around to create effective e-commerce websites, stimulating iTV shows, entertaining, enhanced advertising and mobile communications. Their impressive client list includes retailers, financial services, government and blue chip brands.
This is an exciting opportunity to become involved with a variety of digital media projects, coming up with creative copy solutions from scratch, and re-purposing old copy. You will also be expected to work on pitches to existing clients and contribute to business development. As a senior member of the content team, you will provide direction and guidance to other team members.
Requirements:
You should have a minimum 3-5 years experience as a copywriter with a strong understanding of digital media. You will be a creative thinker likely to come from a traditional advertising or digital agency background. You will have a mature personality with an aptitude for managing / mentoring others.
Essential skills include:
* editorial (copywriting, editing, housestyling, proofreading)
* broad understanding of marketing / branding issues
* ability to inspire, direct and motivate colleagues
* strong interpersonal skills are a prerequisite, together with a team player mindset and a flexible, enthusiastic approach to work
* highly self motivated, organised and methodical with attention to detail
* autonomous, disciplined, flexible, energetic, entrepreneurial
